Interesting point. If it had Xbox 360-style achievements and online interaction with other players, would you like it better?
I would like it a lot more if it had that, but imagine if the majority of games (VC included) were online like on the 360... I would probably play the Wii more than anything.

Wow, that is a great read. I sort of wonder if the "Inside source" had an ax to grind after being let go or something. I do think the 360 was way rushed into production so it could beat the PS3. Overall that strategy has worked in terms of hardware and software sales, but they are sure paying a price now with all of the defective 360s....

My father's 360 just died as well, so I am in the process of returning it. I shipped it about two weeks ago and it still shows, "Waiting for Device at Service Center" on the Microsoft site. After checking the tracking info from UPS it says they failed to deliver it twice so far... Ugh...
