Okami

Okami for PS2 recently arrived from GameFly, and I must say this game is fantastic. It is a game concept that sounds boring/awful when explained in words: basically you solve puzzles by doing calligraphy. But the game is very fun and rewarding. Because you have godlike powers, the calligraphy that you draw creates a new reality, and as you complete things the game world becomes more beautiful. This game is so good, that it has lured me away from the Xbox 360 and back to the PS2. It is such a new style of gaming, it reminds me of when I first played Parappa the Rapper. Just when you think everything has already been done, something brand new and creative like this comes along.

I haven't played it yet, but have been keeping an eye on it's progress.

This games looks wonderful.

It's great that they took the time to come up with an aesthetically pleasing style ......when game becomes "art" perhaps!

A refreshing change to generic 3D game visuals, that have photographic textures slapped on.
