Twitch Asylum

Erogamer has posted a number of screenshots of the new Sonic game that is heading to the week. That in itself isn't that exciting (at least for me). However, the interesting part is that on each screenshot, they show how you are going to use the Wii controller to control Sonic.

As you can see, there are little pictures in the bottom left hand corner of the screens which show what you'll need to do with the controller to make Sonic perform the action on screen - shaking it to make him run, for example.

Shaking it to make him run? Seems that could get a little tiresome. I am really looking forward to getting the Wii and seeing if the games can stand up to longer gaming sessions. I think there will definitely be a learning curve as developers figure out what works best, and watching that evolution should be pretty cool.

I am really excited for the Wii too but I am guessing many of the initial games will not be that great just like the DS launch was.
